My penultimate act as VP Programs for the Calgary Association of the Romance Writers of America was to introduce and host the amazing Angela Ackerman at our workshop on Tuesday, March 17.
Although it was to be a small event with no international speakers, and not affected by the safety measures prescribed so far, we have decided to deliver the workshop via a Zoom presentation instead.
Silver-lining: This also makes it a fantastic opportunity for us to make this workshop available to out of town members!
WHO IS ANGELA ACKERMAN?
Angela is a writing coach, international speaker, and bestselling author who loves to travel, teach, empower writers, and pay-it-forward. She also is a founder of One Stop For Writers, an online library packed with powerful tools to help writers elevate their storytelling.
She is best-known for her amazing thesaurus series, co-authored with Becca Puglisi:
The workshop starts at 7:30 pm, and it is exclusive to CaRWA members.

BUT I THOUGHT YOU RESIGNED FROM THE RWA?
As most of you know, I have tendered my resignation to CaRWA on February 16, 2020 (my resignation letter, as well as the resignation letters of CaRWA’s current president, secretary, diversity liaison, and membership chair are HERE). My resignation will be effective May 1, 2020. My resignation from the RWA will follow.
Responsibility. It’s a thing.
If the COVID-19 outbreak is contained, my last act as CaRWA’s VP Programs will be to bring the also amazing Skye Warren to Calgary on April 25.
