Really excited to share this call for submissions from Demeter Press with you. Demeter Press is the first book publisher focused specifically on the topic of mothering/ motherhood: an independent feminist press committed to publishing peer-reviewed scholarly work, fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction by and about mothers, mothering and family issues. The press is named in honour of the Goddess Demeter, herstory’s most celebrated empowered and outraged mother.
And, it’s doing an entire collection on Mothers, Sex, and Sexuality.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS JUNE 1, 2015.

You know you’ve got THAT paper percolating inside you. “Mothers are often not seen or appreciated as sexual beings, aside from their procreative capacities.” Or, as I would put more crudely—(most) women who are mothers (often-sometimes) like to fuck.
