WRITING PROMPT:
Wasn’t that every woman’s dream?
Beginners: Write for 15 minutes.
Intermediate: Write for 45 minutes.
Advanced: You can’t write today. (EDGING!)
You can THINK about what you’d write. You can “write” in your head. Or while you go for a walk. But you can’t sit down and put words on paper/screen. Don’t cheat. You’ll thank me tomorrow.
PS Did you watch that Kurt Vonnegut video in yesterday’s post? No? After you write today, this video is your reward:
RULES
- Start timer or set number of pages you’re writing towards (Beginners, use timer as discussed in class).
- Write–no going back, deleting or revising. WRITE FORWARD.
- No re-reading your work or showing it to anyone after you’ve written it. This is for your eyes only.
- Stop. No, you can’t write more. The repeat comes the next day. THIS IS EDGING.
SLIDE DECK + READING LIST from Week 1 (FULL, Password Protected–Password Given in Class)
