Welcome to the SULTRY & sweet SUMMER reads YYC author showcase! Today, you get to meet one of my favourite authors and my partner-in-crime from the More Than A Guilty Pleasure presentations (have we got a HOT panel planned for you for this year’s When Words Collide, kittens!). She keeps on getting awards on her sultry queer work–most recently for the 2016 Rainbow Award for Best Bisexual Fiction for her novel Midnight at the Orpheus. Kittens, meet ALYSSA LINN PALMER:

ALYSSA LINN PALMER writes romantic noir, lesbian romance, and a variety of short stories. Her novel Betting on Love was a finalist for a Rainbow Award in 2015, and in 2016, her novel Midnight at the Orpheus won a Rainbow Award for Best Bisexual Fiction.

Her noir romance novels include the Le Chat Rouge Series. Her newest novel, Betting on Second Chances, releases this July as part of the Women of Stampede series. Alyssa has also been published in numerous anthologies, including the YYC Queer Writers projects Queer Christmas in Cowtown and Screw Chocolate 1&2.
