You: Hey, what’s with the password-protected post right beside this one?
Me: Run run to PHOEBE ALEXANDER at MOUNTAINS WANTED to find out!
Still here? Good. Has not this tour been a great venue for meeting amazing people? Here comes another one: Stop 38 (and Chapter 38) are hosted by PHOEBE ALEXANDER—author of sex positive, body positive erotic romance.
And buy all her books on Amazon:
I want to tell you the story of how Phoebe Alexander and I met, because it’s another one of those great “this is why the Internet exists” stories. We are both members of Romance in Her Prime, a FB Group dedicated to celebrating 35+ heroines in romantic fiction, organized by Lisa Salvary (who, btw, has a fab blog called royallionesslisa.wordpress.com). Lisa posted a question to the group, asking us what themes we liked in our Romance In Her Prime stories. Empty nester? Something else? I wrote:
“I really like anything that busts that Madonna/Whore dichotomy. Stories in which she’s a good mother AND a passionate lover… and this isn’t a conflict to be solved, it’s just the way it is.”
Phoebe commented: “I love this! basically the theme of my Mountains Trilogy books.”
We started talking, and checking out each other’s books and forming a mutual admiration society, and so of course I invited her to be part of the Consequences Audio Tour! I’m doubly-grateful she accepted my invitation because I later found out she was releasing a new novel—Christmas in the Mountains—on 11/11—and I know how much work supporting a new release takes, so thank, thank you, thank you, Phoebe!
I hope her readers enjoy the off-the-charts drama in the EMASCULATION chapter.
(BTW, nobody gets castrated. I promise.)
(Or do they????)
In any event, head on over to Phoebe’s blog to listen to–and read–Chapter 38: EMASCULATION.
