When I was planning the Tell Me launch party, I reached out, casually and awkwardly, to an acquaintance from the past, who knew me in a totally not-an-ER-writer kind of context, and I said, “So. Um… you don’t know about this side of me at all, but I write these… smutty books… and, um, I have this party, you want to come?”

And she said, “So… um, you don’t know this about me at all, but I also write smutty stories and I actually read/record other people’s smut for them.”

She read and recorded a few snippets of Tell Me for the launch party and let me tantalize readers with an audio taste of the book at the Dirty Listening Stations we set up at the party.

It was awesome.

I was so very grateful.

And oh, boy, were those listeners ever teased. Titillated. Other things.

So when she asked if I wanted to tease readers with some audio for Consequences, I said, “Yes! Yes! Yes!”
