From Six Hours:
“Lover?”
“What, my bruised fuckslave?”
“Your flight boards in 10 minutes.”
“What? Oh, Jesus Christ. Give me my belt. Although I like it there, so very much. Fuck.”
“Pants first?”
“I suppose. Come here. Dress me. But… quickly.”
“All right.”
“Will you be all right? Dressing yourself, cleaning up?”
“Yes.”
“Was I too rough?”
“Yes.”
“I think I want you again.”
“I see that. Eight minutes. Belt. Go.”
“Going. Say thank you, fuckslave.”
“Thank you, my lover.”
“Master.”
“Thank you, my lover-master. Now, go.”
Mindfuck of biblical proportions.
Perfect trust.
Oh my fucking god.

This is one of my favourite bits of Matt-and-Jane dialogue. It’s because… I think it’s the cadence. And how much is revealed without very much being said. And how it ties together… well, anyway. It gives me pleasure to re-read this snippet.

SO, WHAT’s UP WITH THE BOOK? Minor scheduling delay. May 2015. Last week was cover briefs and jacket blurbs and waah… it felt so real and ecstatic and also, you know… so incredibly scary. Still.
In the meantime… will you let me tease you with the pitch? Yes? Here it is: Tell Me: The Book.
